Removing walls of disjointed rooms in this three-storey home effectively doubled the home’s living area. The mood of the renovated space is uplifting and fresh with a Scandinavian feel. Pale wood flooring is paired with soft textures and comfortable furnishings in a light-filled interior.

A Scavolini kitchen with counters topped in large slabs of marble inject luxe simplicity, while open shelving offers interest by allowing the home owners to add pops of colour through treasured serving ware. Chic minimalism is continued to the airy ensuite bathroom in the upper level, where marble slabs hold the same intrigue as a modern sculpture. Meanwhile, outside, cement-board lap-siding gives the rear exterior a fresh, new façade.
